MRI and EEG....check...

Today, Miss M' had an MRI and EEG to see if they can shed some light on what caused her seizure, check for brain abnormalities, or other "suspicious" areas.  Miss M' had everyone in stitches while we were waiting for the anesthesiologists to arrive.  Miss M' loves to smootch, and she hasn't learned that it isn't socially acceptable to kiss everyone who walks by.  She had her lips sticking out a mile (think fish lips) when anyone walked by her.  I'm gonna have to watch out for this girl when she gets older!  We should here something within the next 48 hours after the neurologist gets a chance to read the results.   If you think of it please say a little prayer for A' and mommy and daddy as we wait for the results to come in.  Thanks!  : )

Happy...

These 5 little smiling faces are the reason that I can celebrate Mother's Day.  I am blessed beyond measure!

I woke up to breakfast in bed made and served by Mr. J',jr.   I then dozed off for a few more minutes and was greeted with a sweet little kiss from D'.  As I walked out of my bedroom, I found a card that Miss M' made for me laying on my dresser.  I came downstairs to the sweet sound of L' saying "momma," and then sweet Miss A' crawled up next to me on the couch to cuddle while I drank my coffee.  And, that was just the first 20 minutes of my day.  I would say that it has been a pretty amazing day so far!  I feel loved. : )

Impromtu....

D'....I love his fashion sense.

Look at the determination!

Future farmers.... I think YES!

On Easter, we had Uncle Jon, Aunt Catherine, and cousins over for dinner after church.  Uncle Jon was the m.a.s.t.e.r. of hiding eggs.  I think everyone had a great time.  I do plan on rationing the Easter candy to my kids a little more next year since I found an entire bucket of wrappers in the closet on Sunday night.  No wonder they were bouncing off the walls. : )

Happy birthday, squirt....

D' celebrated his 5th birthday on April 29th.  I can't believe my little guy is already 5!  He had a birthday party at a local kids gym and invited some of his "boy" cousins, a few of his girl cousins, and his friends, Craig and Brett.  I was highly disorganized on the morning of the party, so I forgot my camera, but I think Auntie K' captured a few pics for me. : )  We had a little family party for him on Friday night (shirts were apparently "optional" for the boys), and D' loved the "lego storm trooper" cake that mom and Maddy made for him.  Happy Birthday "Super D"!  You are an amazing little guy, we love you and can't imagine life without you! xoxo

Crooked.....

I think he may have been a little numb still. :)
Today, D' finished up his 6th (yes, I said 6th) fillings that we've been working on since he came home from China.  What a trooper he was!  I can't believe how well he does with the dentist (of course, he told me before going that his dentist was his girlfriend, so I think he may have a little crush)....not a tear, tantrum, or cry out of him.  He has the ladies at the dentists office wrapped around his finger, and he knows it!  They all tell him how cute he is, and of course, he EATS it up.  I'm gonna have to watch out for this boy when he grows up because he is quite the little charmer!
